Hi everyone

I have suffered from anxiety, stress and panic attacks since i was a child.
Over the past year i have started attending a yoga class once a week and swimming twice a week.

I just wanted to tell you about the benefits and recommend it to anyone suffering from stress or anxiety.

Yoga has really helped me feel less stressed and anxious and to control my panic attacks. The main basis of yoga is the breathing. Yoga teaches you how to breath properly as most people don't do this.

Using breathing techniques helps to calm your body and mind and relax your muscles.

Massage can also help relax your body and mind and help soothe you when you are feeling stressed.

I recently visited a really good spa in Leeds called Waterfall Spa and had the ‘tension busting massage’. It uses deep tissue massage to really work out the knots in your back caused by tension, and aromatherapy oils, which help to relax your body and mind in general. It was great. I would definitely recommend looking up spas and massage practitioners in your area, or going to this one if you live in the north of england!
