My daughter was vomiting all day and we finally called 911 @ 7pm. Her bp and hr were low. In the er, her temp was 102.7, hr 35, with shivering chills and still vomiting. They did not keep her on the cardiac monitor and it was 3 days later, after 10 bags of nss that her hr dropped again, bp 105/50 flat. A 12 lead was finally done after my insistence and put on telemetry and an echo done. We moved to a hopsital more capable of handling cardiac pts, a cardiologist saw here the next day while she was sleeping, didn't wake her up, discharged her with orders to follow up with a cardiologist. A ct of the pelvis showed a 6 cm ovarian cyst and she started her period. Anybody with any knowledge of why her hr would remain in the 30's with the possibility of her having to get a pacemaker. She has an 9 month old baby. She also was given iv antibiotics for the first 2 days. She no longer has vomiting, just feels weak. What to do?
