i need help getting back into running.. i
used to love it. i still do, i just get
really lazy. i ran cross country and track
all through high school. i was a captain
of my team, i loved it, and i was really
fast. i also ran cross country my freshman
year of college but then i developed
illiotibial band syndrome which had me out
for a good 4 months. i ran some over the
summer, but couldn't seem to get back into
shape. either i'd have a relapse or i was
just too lazy. now i'm in my sophomore
year. i couldn't run cross country this
year because i have a job, and without the
team i just can't find any motivation to
run on my own. i used to have all these
aspirations. i think about all running has
done for me. it really did save my life. i
want to be back in shape again, i want to
run a marathon some day. i feel like i've
lost a piece of myself and i just want it
back
