they say you can have caffeine in moderation. apparently "they" consider moderation to be no more than 6 cans a day.

i drank a lot of coke when i was pregnant and finn turned out fine.

I didn't drink any caffine in the begining.....about till week 14 or so. Then I got this strong craving for Dr. Pepper. I drink 1-2 20oz bottles a day. I assume it's okay. I really love it right now and I don't think it comes in caffine free. Although if I drink pepsi or coke I do drink the caffine free version.

I drank so much Pepsi you probably could've drowned me in it Razz

My baby seems to be fine. I would think that the general rule for everything is to do it in moderation.

courtnie said it, everything in moderation!

this time around i'm drinking diet pepsi and other diet sodas. i blame a lot of my weight gain with finn on the amount of coke i consumed (along with the cheese and sour cream on everything!). coke in cans was one of my biggest cravings with him, this time i'm not drinking much soda but i am drinking a ton of water (and pay for that by having to get up 5 times during the night).

I drank pop during both of my pregnancies and both my children are fine. Actually everything that I have read about pop says that there really isn't a lot of caffeine in it. Nothing like a cup of coffee. I think that there is something like 30mg of caffeine in a can, and your allowed about 300mg a day. So I think that you are fine.

Have any of you tried the cherry coke zero?? It actually tastes REALLY good. Plus, it's better for you. Not good, but better.

I think drinking 1-2 cans a day is fine. Just don't drink too much caffeine. Your baby will be doing somersaults haha

I just read that 2-3 cups of coffee is ok during pregnancy. SO I'd figure it'd be about the same for coke/pepsi.

I've TOTALLY cut out caffeine for this pregnancy(as I did for Oni). Plus the sugar will make me pack on the pounds! lol!!!
