My bf has a very long foreskin and was wondering if he should get some of it cut off becuase it may cause him problems later in life. I don't think its normal to have a abnormally long foreskin and I just feel like our sex like my suffer due to his long foreskin.

Does it hinder his pleasure or your pleasure? If so, he should look into having it changed.

Foreskin (yes, even long ones) are natural. Just make sure he is making an informed choice!

I'd never ask a guy to cut his foreskin!

What kind of "problems" have people told you he may develop? I bet none of them are real.

Yes, a long foreskin IS normal!

If he can retract the foreskin behind the head of the penis when erect, then everything works exactly how it should work. In fact, a long foreskin when flaccid may mean that his penis grows a lot when he gets hard Wink

I can imagine very sexy moments sucking on the foreskin to make him hard. That's just me though.

Thanks for your replies. I've always had circumcised boyfriends so this kind of new to me. I just thought boys have to be circumcised or they have problems later in life and they might give girls infections if their not cut.

circumcision was used in the old days to avoid infections since the men didn't cleanse their bodies very often. these days it has been proven to be completely unnecessary. now it's only done as a religious practice. no one really NEEDS to get it cut. they just do. but this is done as a baby. i dont think grown men just decide to cut it...i cant imagine why they would...

Yes, there is no need for circumcision in a first-world country where we have soap. It's only done nowadays because "it's always been done". There is no point. It is very harmful in fact. It removes much of a man's sensitivity, and the procedure is done with no anesthesia, and often leaves uneven and misshapen penises.

The only reason circumcision "needs" to be done any more is if your religion stipulates it, or if the man has severe phimosis that cannot be cured through stretching.

It sounds like your boyfriend has neither of those situations, thus he has no need to mutilate his genitals.

foreskin
it's not like your bf can go to his dr (as if he were at the barber shop) and tell him to take a little bit off the top. you either have a foresking or you get it removed. he's not getting his hair styled. show him this message and he will understand.

"boys do not have to be circumcised" In some cultures it's a strong tradition but it does not apply to everyone. The only problems that there might be, STDs, if he would not keep it clean down there.
