Fertility: Can I Untie My Tubes? Posted: 09-26-07 12:07pm
I got my tubes tied 3 years ago and ever
since then I have been having real bad
pains and things have been out of wack.
I've had more problems since my tubes have
been tied, then before they where tied.
I've been to the dr and hospital numerous
of times for excess bleeding and all that,
I want them untied now. How much would
that set me back and who else can I speak
with in reference to trying to have this
done?

You can talk to your doctor about it.
He'll let you know what your options are.

Usually, tubal ligations can not be
reversed. The usual method is to cut the
fallopian tube and coderize (sp?) the
ends.
Talk to your doctor. I think it's
permanent though.

Yes. Tubal ligation can be reversed.
Dr. Berger from North Carolina is a
specialist in tubal ligation reversal. www.tubal-reversal.net
The clinic is called Chapel Hills Tubal
Reversal Clinic.
