i have a large lump near the anus on the left side but there is no drainage or anything like that. its like a golf ball and it hurts massivly to sit down or move weird. I cant find anything about a lump that doesnt have any kind of pus or stuff like that. but it hurts and its scarying me.

I also have a large lump its on my right side but there is no drainage it is very painful it feels like a bruise and there is a dull ache pretty much all the time. it is a little red but you can not see it very well but it it is a hard mas under my skin. i am sorry that i dont have any real feedback, but you are not the only one.

I just got a similar thing in the past couple of days that many of you have described (especially RDPHILLY). I ride mountain bikes a lot and thought that maybe somehow that caused it. It is really uncomfortable. If it continues to get worse, I will go to the doctor in a couple of days and post any information.

Well i have this problem as well.
It is not red or swollen but you can feel it there.
Seems to be the size of a peanut as previously described.
1 thing i have noticed with mine is that it seems to have a 'tail'. The main lump is aprox 1 inch from my anus and there is what appears to be a raised line running from the lump to my anus. I have concerns that is is a worm of sorts.
It doesnt leak at all and is not getting any bigger. I have had it for about a month. It is very very itchy and the more i scratch the more it itches to the point it gets sore.
To continue with the theory it could be a worm of sorts, i take very very hot showers and after a few minutes it seems to receed back into my skin.
The is a post that mentions pilots get it and someone mentioned they ride a push bike a lot.
I think the common factor there is sitting for long periods of a time. I work in an office and am sitting for 50 hours a week. Could this be the cause?
Also i am a person that likes some anal action during sex with my wife so i am thinking this could also have caused it with penetration of a dildo as to reduce any pain it is best to push. The bigger the object being inserted the more one would push out.
This could explain a burst blood vessell.

Well i think the only solution is to see a doctor.
