I recieved an email from a desperate friend asking for advice.

These are the main points from it it said.

I constantly have huge amounts of trapped wind that I find really hard to shift that gives me som discomfort in the stomach (not the intestines) but when I burp I feel so much better and the nausea passes almost instantly.

I get full up very easily. So I am not eating that much.

I usually feel ok in the morning until after I have eaten breakfast. Usually an hour or so later the wind and bloating starts. Sometimes it can take longer that an hour to get the wind out. Then it just gets worse through out the day

There is no pain in the stomach, just an uncomfortable feeling. Exactly the same as when I was younger.

I am on lofepramine and propranolol for the depression and anxiety and the doctor prescribed metoclopramide for the nausea.

He says his GP is not bothering with him and is at his witts end
If anyone has any advise i can pass on to him that would be great.
