do i have to quit taking birthcontrol pills be fore i start menopause? i am 51 years old

I don't see why you'd have to stop taking them, but please call your doctor and ask. They may help ease you through menopause with fewer side effects, but that's just speculation on my part.

Your body will start menopause as soon as it is ready, regardless of birth control pills used.

Women of menopausal age ARE at risk for pregnancy, and most doctors will keeo you on BC pills because of the pregnancy risks.
