HI I will be going for my 6 week postpartum check up and I will be going on some form of birth control....I don't know what I am going to decide on taking, but I was wondering what has the least side effects (other than barrier)...

Does anyone have any recommendations as to what worked well for them?

Thank you for your feedback!

OrthoTricyclen Lo worked great for me Smile No spotting, no bad side effects. Lighter period, less painful cramps! Less acne!! It's the wonderpill!

I agree with tthe last post, Ortho TriCyclen Lo has the lowest dose of hormones and gave me the least side effects. According to the new Seasonale and Yaz marketing, theyre supposed to help alot with emotional side effects. whatever you choose, it would probably be wise for you to choose to take it continuously, dont skip that week for a while to help your hormones rebalance. all brands of the pill have been proven safe to take without that week break.
