Hello,

My right disc has been displaced for a year and a half and I cannot open my mouth very wide. My jaw seems to drop back when I open it as far as I can. I wear a mouth guard at night and really can’t complain too much about my symptoms. I’ve noticed that both cheeks and temples area have hollowed and my cheek bones seem to stick out more. I am very athletic and have not lost any weight during this time. Not sure if there is any type of exercised I can do to “beef up” my cheek area. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Extremely eHealthy
you should go see a doctor to get that disc replaced. I have the same thing but its because i had bone removed. you need to start doing jaw stretches to to help with the limited opening.
