Hi, first of all, I've been on the Depo shot for 4 years now. The whole time I've been on it, I NEVER had a period or even spotted blood UNLESS I was late for the Depo. Even then, the bleeding would STOP a day or two after getting the shot. I was scheduled to get my 3 month shot on Sept 13th. I got my period a week BEFORE I was due. I got my shot and my period went on for 2 days, STOPPED for a day, then I started spotting. The spotting comes and goes and has been this way for 2 weeks, going on 3 weeks this coming Thursday. The last few days, when I pee, I notice that I'm peeing out clots. This is VERY abnormal for me because nothing like this has EVER happened before. What could be wrong with me? Is it something I should be worried about? I plan to be checked out ASAP, I just wanted to get some opinions first...I have nurses telling me it's normal because even though I've been on the shot for 4 years, sometimes my body will take a little longer than expected to get used to the hormones, but bleeding for almost 3 weeks is NOT normal, is it? Confused
