Let's talk about a way you can work along with your drugs or if any of you are trying to go the homiopathic way to help relieve some of this anxiety in our lives.

Get yourself some atmospheric or ocean breeze sound ascape music. Hook yourself up to a set of nice head phones, set straight up somewhere that is comfortable. Not in a chair! On a bed or pillow on the floor is great. Now comes the good part. Let the music take you to wherever you want to be. Like me, I like the forest. So, I close my eyes and relax and put myself in a state of relaxation. Work from your brain down to your toes. Imagine every part of you body going into that mode. Once you have achieved that sense of well being, then is the time to start your travels. Go somewhere you feel safe. You may even have a favorite place you had as a child.
Stay in this place for at least a half hour or so. Feel you body winding down, let all your muscles relax.
Believe it or not, this is a good way to start you day or even end it after a bad day at school or work. I find it very helpful for my aniety levels.
Try it. You can get those CD's just at about any store. I get mine at Best Buy or Target even. Sometimes you gift shops will have them too.

I love it. I used to do this and it worked. I've got to get back into yoga.
