Lol! I am so impatient. How do you guys keep yourselves from thinking about getting pregnant every second? Maybe it's just b/c we JUST started trying, but I can't seem to think about anything else these days. I know it's not good to obsess over it, so I'm trying my best to keep my cool and just go with the flow...In the meantime, do you guys have any tips on increasing the odds? I'm always reading these weird little things that are supposed to boost your fertility (i.e. drink green tea, etc.) but I'm not sure of their validity, ya know? I'm already taking prenatals, in hopes that they'll help my body get ready.

Also, I've seen a couple of you guys mention your "charts"...not to sound like a total fool, but what is that? Do you just chart your ovulation? If so, how do you go about doing so? I feel like I need to get a better idea of what's going on with my body when. Smile

I'll start with the charting. We are referring to our bbt (basal body temp) charts. You basically take your temp at the same time every morning with a bbt thermometer. It is a wonderful and priceless tool when it comes to figuring out what your body is doing. We all (?) use fertilityfriend.com. You can use them for free (I pay for the VIP upgrade) and they give you a tutorial before you start so you know what your doing and what your looking at. I HIGHLY suggest it!

Now, for what I do to take my mind off things....that is a great question! I don't. Confused Honestly, I'm either working or thinking about it. That's pretty much it during the day. At night, dh helps me think of other things, but my mind still goes there often. I suggest a hobby or reading or gardening. Shopping doesn't work for me. I always think 'if I get pregnant, this wont fit long.' Or I end up in the baby section. Embarassed

There are alot of things out there that will help with different aspects of ttc. The Green tea helps with your cm, especially if you lack or have little ewcm. Other herbs and supplements help with either the first or second part of your cycle. If you know what you want to work on, we might be able to help more. (this is were temping helps so much).
