Q: Do We Produce Pheromones?

Not a health problem but I would be interested to hear your opinions.

I shower ever night before I go to bed and each morning before I get up I masturbate for about twenty minutes. To increase the stimulation I gently stroke the inner cleavage of my buttocks lightly touching my anus with a clean plastic rod of about quarter inch in diameter. I notice that the end of the rod which has been in contact with my (clean) anus picks up a very erotic, almost imperceptible, pleasant aroma which I find very stimulating sexually!

Is this my imagination or do we all produce small amounts of erotic scents?!

You more likely enjoy the smell of your anus itself, not to be gross.

Humans DO produce scents attractive to others and sexually stimulating, but it's normally in the sweat glands. It's possible that you are smelling this scent caused by the sweat between your bum cheeks. I don't think it's exactly a pheromone.
