I just wanted to share my experience, in case any others out there might be running into the same problem I had.

I tried conceiving for 2 years, but not until losing a few pounds was I able to get pregnant. I had all the risk factors for insulin resistance (belly fat, family history, some PCO symptoms). I never knew that losing just 10 pounds could help.

The more I read and learned about insulin resistance, the more surprised I was to find how pervasive and damaging this condition is. If you have any of the risk factors, perhaps diet, nutrition, and (perhaps) medication might work for you, too.

Anyway, I have more details on a blog, if you'd like to check it out... www.infertilecarolina.blogspot.com

Good luck,
Carolina
