ok, here's the thing. My girlfriend is a virgin and she's been wanting to have sex recently. Well, every time we try, it's too painful for her and we get no where. she's in her early 20s and so am I. I've tried lubricants, different positions and nothing works. Any suggestions would be helpful here. I don't want to hurt her so bad that she doesn't want to do it anymore. kwim? Thanks.

It's going to take time and patience.

1. Get her to orgasm once before even trying! This way her natural lubrication is on. Try oral, that's always excellent! You can get a good look at things down there.
3. Look down there. This step may sound dumb but I know of a lot of guys who "go for it" without ever looking at what they're doing! Observe it, etc.
4. Lube up a few fingers, and look at where you're putting them!
5. Feel around, figure out exactly where the entrance of her vagina is.
6. Find out how many fingers fit comfortably. If you can only fit one or two, then it's probably her hymen, and you'll have to work on stretching that unless you want pain and blood. Most likely however, you'll be able to fit things in just fine once you actually find the entrance.
7. If you feel like it, give another orgasm while you're down there playing Wink
8. Personally, missionary with the girl on her back and legs spread is the easiest position for you to place it in her and observe what you're doing.
9. Slap on a condom! Safe sex!
10. Lube yourself up. Lube goes on the condom, not the penis. If lube goes on the penis, the condom falls off. Not fun.
11. Grab yourself with one hand, and fingers of the other hand go inside of her.
12. Guide yourself into her, watch where you're going! Contrary to popular belief it's not like throwing a hot dog down a hallway; the quarters are tight!
13. If it goes in without to much pain, continue on to step 14. Otherwise, just rub yourself up and down on her vuvla. That feels really really good to her, and you may end up slipping inside during it! Don't force it, and don't make penetration your primary goal.
14. Um, then like, have sex. You're in!

And if you've tried all of Eiri's steps and it still hurts her, she needs to see a doc.

wow I wish I knew all this my first time. My first experience was horrible. He basically shoved it in and the pain that came was blinding!

I was scared to have sex again for two years. So follow the 14 steps and you are guaranteed to have a great time. Thanks Eiri

I knew a lot by the first time I had sex as I was older but when that happened it was done spontaneusly, not that much planned to have all this kinds of lubes available in front of me at the moment we decided to have sex. So it was just experimenting naturally, see what happens. When he began and I felt that wall down there not letting him in easly I realized orgasms were going to be for other time so I just let him begin breaking in. It hurted and I bleed but it was fun.

Advice just tell the guy to be gentle..

I didn't have a plan or tools (besides a condom!) or anything either, but it didn't hurt at all.

I think some girls get so nervous and think it should hurt, so they grin and bear it instead of relaxing and letting it happen, so it hurts. You know what I mean?

Bottom line is- it shouldn't hurt!! Maybe if the girl still has her hymen, but most don't.

I was extremely stimulated my first time and I have a lot of natural lubrication, PLUS I had no real hymen.

Take another bow, Eiri! You done good. Best list I've ever seen although, I still don't get the numbering. Is there 14 steps? Is No. 2 missing or just not marked? Oh well, it's still a great guide for many boys and girls to follow.

Yeah it seems I accidentally miss-numbered. Step two is another orgasm! (lol no). (Well I mean, if you're up for it, more orgasm is always good!)
