Well, iv been having a hard time at
collage. I dont enjoy any of my classes. i
have no friends there and its a 2 hour
jorney to get there and 2 hours back.
Also, i think that it *might* be a bit
useless as i am learning nothing which has
anything to do with the career i wish to
pick (Games designer) and i think that if
i learnt from home i could learn LOTS more
of what i need.
What should i do?

Your welcome.
Now that we got that out of the way.
Didn't you look at the classes before you
signed up for them? I believe that there
are schools specifically designed for game
developers and the like. Do a google
search.

Ill try to improve my grammar.
Also, i did look at getting a game design
course at Liverpool, but it filled up a
year before it even started.
I was researching home learning, but how
affevtive is this?

not really sure, myself, I'd shy away from
home learning unless you can prove it is
an accredited school. I would hate to go
through the expense and then find out its
bogus and doesn't count towards anything.

-_- Amazing how small the world can be. I
just moved near there from NYC, I spent
the glorious days of last summer working
in Carousel mall. Disgusting oy. Anyway,
college is like that to me too, I find it
bull for the most part, teaching
irrelevant things and making you take this
class or that class so they can leech a
few extra bucks from you. But then I
realized thinking that way won't change my
situation, there is nothing I can do
against a behemoth like college, either
join it or quit it. Quitting it won't get
me anywhere in life because I won't get
the degree I need for the job I want. So,
I just decided to accept the bull as
necessary and convert it as a vital part
to my goals. From then on, its all up to
what you are going to do during that
journey. You say you have no friends and
suffer a 2 hour journey. This in the end,
no offense intended, is yours and your
fault only. Why spend so long going back
and forth, can you not dorm? Or find a
cheap apartment to make life easier on
yourself. Seeing how much gas you would be
using + the inconvenience, I think dorming
would be worth it. More importantly, you
should try to make friends there instead
of sticking where you are now alone in a
college. Easier said then done, as you may
say, true, but such a task is only so
difficult because you made it so by
thinking that way. I started college with
a bang compared to my high school life
(trust me, it was not a good experience),
and created some sort of illusion that I'm
this super social fly guy, which I still
find so ironic when I compared my high
school self. Just try to enjoy your
experiences, try new things, join some
clubs, get to meet people, things like
that. If you still dont like it, then hey,
perhaps then it is time to take your own
path. But don't quit before you have tried
everything.
