Q: Weird Stomach Noises

Hey all
I've just moved to college to a brand new city miles and miles from home this last August. Ever since I got here I noticed something very very bad (and annoying, I might add). Perhaps its due to a drastic change in diet but on an almost daily basis after consuming (usually) cafeteria food I have serious trouble digesting. I mean a lot of times my stomach makes some wacko noises, I mean like high pitched whiny noises.
This was NOT a problem at all back home. I suspect it has to do with the high fat diet at the cafeteria (I pretty much live off of grilled sandwhich stuff like burgers and chicken sandwhiches) but Ive noticed I also get it with my home made food now (stove top box food dishes to be specific (what else can a college kid afford? Laughing)
Not to mention I always have a serious bloated feeling. I mean, BAD.

This is a catastrophe. Its making my college experience horrendous and its even preventing me from going to the cafeteria or at least making me really reluctant to do so. This MUST come to an end. I cant go thru the next 4 years like this.

BTW if it helps any, the symptoms are usually when Im sitting around after eatin pretty quickly (I've got a busy schedule)

thanks

looks like you are consuming a lot of fibre which is causing this. try food with less fibre & it might help you..

what foods have less fiber?
I thought the problem mightve been that I wasnt consuming enough fiber (I thought eating vegetables for a change might solve the problem)

and also (im srry if this is too much information) i cant really keep much down in my system. most of it gets rejected by my body.

is this what every kid goes thru their first semester of college? one of my buddies warned me a few months back that at college all the foods contain laxatives so none of it will stay down. i thought she was kidding.
silly me
