Q: Bumps All Over My Face

I started getting bumps all over my face this past summer of 2007. They are posted here for all the world to see:

It's been about 5 months now, and the condition seems to be getting worse. 2 doctors have seen me and don't quite know what it could be. They're best bet was rosacea, a heat rash, or molluscum - although they said it didn't really fit the description of either.

The bumps are a slightly itchy and tingle. They are flat lesions that protrude slightly. Some are brown and some are flesh colored. They're mostly on my cheek and have spread to my chin. The newest bumps are starting above my eyelid.

Could this be something caused by HPV-3? What's going on with my face? Please help! Sad

Hi - I have the exact same things, small and didn't notice them at first but got quite a few on my face now. Did you ever find out what it was?

Thanks

Went to see the doctor about this. He said they weren't anything dangerous, just the skin overproducing. I forgot the technical name he used. He said it was healthy skin tissue but just too much of it had grown. Apparantly this is more likely to happen if the skin has been broken, which makes sense as a few of mine tie in with where i've had some bad spots. He did say it was untreatable though Sad
