I wanted to take Chu's fall pics today. It didn't work out too well because the lighting was bad which made my whole setup look bad and Chu has a terrible cold. I'm so mad because the fates have been conspiring against me for pictures lately. As soon as he gets better I'm taking a crapload of pics. I think I'll put a little scarf and hiking boots on him next time. I thought I'd post these anyway because it's been a while since I've posted pics of Chu.
he looks obese in this next one...

i think they came out great! i'm going to steal your prop ideas!
have you thought about taking them outside? i think with the natural light and the same props, they'd come out really well. you could even get a hay bale, if that's not too over the top.
he is so so cute and i love when he sucks his 2 fingers. adorable!

Actually B, we're on the same page with this. I have a wooden fence out back and I was thinking about sticking a hay bale in front of it with the same general layout on top of the hay bale!! That does it! If we're thinking the same on this, it's a sign that I should do it!

I think those pictures are really great. I don't think the lighting is bad at all. Like Bridget said, maybe try them outside on a sunny day.
I love that last one, with him sucking his two fingers. I used to suck the same fingers when I was a baby.

Kay these pics are great! Chu is so handsome! Oni's a lucky girl. I think it would be cute to do the hay bale and wooden fence in a shoot. I wish I were more creative......and I also wish Adriana were more cooperative.

Handsome Boy!
Your little boy is sooooooo handsome!!! He has the most beautiful smile ... love those good looking teeth growing in!! The first picture is my fave! He looks like he has a lot of character in his personality. Mom, he'll be a heart breaker and a handful in his growing years.
