I really knew I had diabetes for over two years, excessive thirst, etc.
I realy did not notice until I saw the shock on my daughters face that I had also had dramatic loss of muscle in my upper legs. I have a twin sister who is not diabetic so I can compare to what I was before.
My question is it gone forever? Can I ever get it back? I walk everyday. I have lost 40 pounds and watch my diet now. I really do not feel well. I mean better than I did before I was diagnosed.
I also, take tenoretic, diovan, for blood pressure. I take 1000 mg of meformin twice a day, one januvia in the morning, one amaryl in the morning for diabetes, cholestrol i take one niaspan at night (cholestrol was 1000),
I am trying to change my health. I am 53 years old.
My legs just look so bad and it bothers me they look skeletal.
