Numbness In Left Side of Lower Face Posted: 09-20-07 21:34pm


I have been getting numbness in the left side of my face and every so often it feels like i am getting a shot of novacaine in the left side of my mouth. Sometimes my left ear and all around that area are feeling tingly and weird. I am 57 and have slightly high cholesterol. I am on vytoran for it. I really don't have any other medical problems. I had a stress test 8 months ago and it was great. What could be causing this?

could it be a side effect of your medication? how long does the numbness last? if i were you i would definately contact your doctor to see if they can check you out!

It is tingly all the time and the numbness is always there, just sometimes worse
