Q: How Early Can Symptoms Show Up?

Hi Girls!
I was just wondering if anybody has an idea of just how early you can start having pregnancy symptoms? To my knowledge, it sounds like it takes a good week or so at least to experience implantation cramping or bleeding and sore breasts...Is it possible to start experiencing these symptoms even earlier? I'm probably just getting myself overexcited! Razz

every woman is different so its hard to say
i had no symptoms til 9 weeks

some women never get sore brest

Thanks so much for the reply! I figured it was probably waaay too early to be having symptoms already (it's literally only been like, several days) but it's typical of me to get all excited over nothing! Thanks again for your help. Smile

Lol! You poor thing...I'm sure when you're starting to get closer to the end, you just want to get to hurry up & hold your little one! I'm sure she'll be here soon enough. Wink

Nice to meet you, Suzy! I'm Rachel, I'm 25, and yes, my fiance and I have just started ttc. But of course, in typical Rachel fashion, I'm super impatient and just can't wait to get my BFP!!

Everyone is different.

Many woman in the tww have 'symptoms' as little as a week after ovulation. These normally aren't 'symptoms' so much as the fluctuation of hormones adjusting for pregnancy, not from the pregnancy itself. And they are normally quite small and you will only notice them if you are 'looking' lol. The larger symptoms, (ie: morning sickness) don't normally start until around 6 weeks or so, but many women experience them as soon as their missed period (normally 2 or so weeks after ovulation).

If you don't mind me asking, what 'symptoms' are you referring to? No need to censor yourself here. We won't think you're crazy, we're doing the same thing! lol.

Welcome, by the way, my name is Christy, I'm 21, DH and I have been ttc for about 9 months now. I hope you stay around!

Hi Christy!
I think I actually met you in one of my other posts...I just joined the forum about a week and a half or so ago. Smile
As far as my 'symptoms' go, it's pretty much just the basic "was that an implantation cramp??" or "hmm...the old boobies are feeling a little sore today"...lol! Nothing major at all...Like I said, I figured it was probably just me getting all excited over nothing. :p I'm a goofball like that!
My period isn't due til around October 10th - 11th, so I've got a ways to go before I could even test. I'm trying to just relax and take a "whatever happens, happens" type of approach, but it's just all so exciting! My fiancé and I would love to have a little baba sometime soon. Smile
Lots of baby dust to you, by the way!
