Q: Reverse Phone Number Look Up

Ok, the creep that has been calling me twice a day for the past 2 weeks just called and they forgot to hit *67, so their number showed up. We're going to call the cops (again) but how can we find out who's number this is? All we get when we search it is that it's a wireless number, which was obvious. Help?

I don't think they'll be calling anymore. I know the cops can get them now, I've already filed a report, but they couldn't do anything because they didn't have a phone number to work with. But now I've got a number, but I want to know who it is. I seriously don't know this person as they claim I do. They asked me if I had a boyfriend, and I said "no, I have a husband" Rolling Eyes
then DH called and gave this guy an ear full. Laughing

So....they police called this morning, and told me his name and says he works at IHOP, just like this guy told me. They also told me he's 15!!! WHAT?! DH says this is not the voice of a 15 year old. And DH's friend knows people that work there, and nobody there goes by this name. So something is still awfully damn fishy. If they call again they'll be arrested. How do they like me now? Laughing

Yeah, well this isn't over yet LOL. DH says he will find out who this asshole is and he's trying to find out where he lives Confused I just want peace!!

So he's conducting his own investigation.
My b-i-l just called me from his job, and I didn't recognize him at first and he's like "hey, what are you doing?!" and I'm like "who is this?!?!" and he kept saying "it's your boyfriend!" I wanted to hurt someone, and then he's like "no no, Mandi it's me! Cas!" Phew LOL. He didn't know about the calls, so he felt bad for doing that. He told me he was going to IHOP to find this guy. But I don't think he really works there....so he probably won't find him.

Yeah I have 3 brothers, so I can hold my own pretty much....but it's still creepy. Many times I opted not to go out to the store after dark because I had no idea who this person was. I don't know how they got my name and number, so who knows what else they know, and I'm not about to take any chances with my daughter. It could be harmless, but I'm not about to find out.

I used to get calls like that, and one day when i answered, I said "oh, she moved out a week ago" and they asked if I had her number. So....I gave him the number of the police station. Smile

true you have to think about her first.

you dont recognize their voice?

and is your phone number in the phone book?

it could be someone playing a "phone prank" or something.

whenever im filling out something on the internet and it says they need my phone number, i never put it anymore because those sites just arent safe and anyone can get the information!

when i was in college this past year someone kept phoning my cell phone it freaked me out to the point that i wouldnt walk to class alone, so i sat on my bed all day shaking. it got to the point where i had to change my number and then it stopped because i only gave my number to my friends at that point.

No, I don't recognize their voice and neither does my husband. And it's my cell phone so it's not in the phone book. And I don't know how they know my name. We think an ex-friend of my husbands gave my number to one of his friends and told this guy to call me like this. We think this old friend is trying to make our lives miserable and to make us fight....and we think that's why they are so persistent.
