Hi!

It's been a while since I've been through this, but the next steps will probably involve finding out if the nodules may be cancerous. It sounds scary but more often than not they are benign. Do you have any other symptoms?

thanks for responding...yes, my other symptoms include weight loss, cold all the time, and the sensation in my throat that I am choking or am wearing a collar that is too tight

I am going through the same thing although I went through it 5 years ago and had a goiter 3 centimeters in size and I ended up having a partial thyroidectomy. Now the right side is enlarged and I have 10 nodules; 1 being 1 centimeter and the rest smaller. I am having neck pain, a little bit of a sore throat and mouth, and have had trouble swallowing, sometimes having to swallow a couple times before my drink/food goes down. I go to the ENT in 2 weeks. Let me know if you hear anything before then and we can compare.
