What Have Been Your Favorite Pregnancy Moments So Far? Posted: 09-19-07 13:25pm
So I'm getting to the point where I've got
some of pregnancy aches and complaints,
but there are also some moments I've
absolutely loved about this pregnancy.
What have been your favorite pregnancy
moments so far?
Mine would have to be feeling the
movements..although getting the big
ultrasound also ranks right up there for
me. Thinking about that moment when the
tech said, "It's a girl!", I still get
choked up and want to start crying.
I love feeling the movements, sometimes at
random times of the day, like she saying,
"Don't forget about me in here!" I also
really like watching my belly move with
the movements. I have been able to see my
belly move since around 23 weeks although
lately I can see it a lot more. It's just
so funny to watch sometimes. It often
makes me laugh.
The other day, DH was hugging me and the
baby starting moving, and DH could feel it
that way too, without even trying. He was
like, "Is that the baby?" and I said,
"Yes!" That was cute, like we all had a
family hug!
Another aspect I really enjoy about this
pregnancy is sharing it with DH and how
considerate and thoughtful he is to me and
seeing his face light up when he feels the
baby kick or we hear the heartbeat in the
the doctor's office. I never had a good or
close relationship with my father (my dad
seems to have trouble relating to the
entire human race, if that's possible),
and I can just tell DH is going to be a
wonderful dad to our daughter, something I
never had as a child.

My pregnancy was awful!!! I was constantly
running to the balcony to heave up
anything and everything I ate. As a fetus,
Kyleigh was a very picky eater!
My favorite moments would have to be when
I first saw the ultrasound when she looked
like a kidney bean. Then feeling her move
the first time. Of course when my hubby
felt her move it was awesome too.
The very best part of my pregnancy was
when it was over
The pre-eclampsia made me feel awful-as if
throwing up constantly wasn't bad enough!

My favorite pregnancy moments with Hannah
were those which I spent in my prenatal
yoga class. I felt so close to her then.
Also, I had my portrait painted nude when
I was prego with Hannah. With my first
pregnancy my favorite moments would have
had to be those I spent in childbirth
classes with my dh. There were three
other couples and it was 12 weeks long.
We just loved it. I loved feeling her
move in my tummy. We called her sharkey.

my favourite would have to be right now in
the 2nd trimester.
I havent felt this good, happy and content
for as long as a can remember. Sometimes i
have to remind myself that i am pregnant
cause i feel like i can do anything.
Most of all i love feeling Grace roll over
or when she starts kicking me!! and my
growing belly too!!

My favourate parts were feeling Meek's
kick, when i found out she was a girl and
probably when my midwife who i'd become
very close to turned up at the hospital
and said 'i'm delivering your baby'.
