Q: Stomach Question - CT scan results for stomach high in chest

I am a 53 year old male. I just had a ct scan and the doctor says my
stomach is up high in my chest and recommends surgery at once. Is this
as unusual a condition as it sounds? Any thoughts?

"Stomach up high in your chest" sounds like hiatus hernia. If symptoms become unbearable and medication do not help surgical treatment is recommended.
