Q: Nuva Ring - Question

Hi!

This is going to sound terribly dumb...but I have a question regarding when exactly to take out/insert the Nuva ring.

On the directions and online, it says to remove the ring three weeks on the same day of the week that it was inserted and after one week without the ring, insert a new one — on the same day of the week that the previous one was inserted in my last cycle.

SO. I am terrible with math and am confusing myself. I inserted the ring today Sept. 18. Does that mean I remove it Oct. 9 and then re-insert a new one Oct. 16? I just need to make sure I'm doing the math correctly. This is my first time on any birth control.

Thank you to all ahead of time and I am sorry for such a silly question...

Yeah

When I was on it I used the cute little stickers that come with the package and stuck them on my calendar. I always started on Mondays, so on the first monday I'd put the little sticker and write 'in' on it, and then on the third monday I'd put the little sticker and write 'out' on it.... then a new 'in' one the next monday, you get the picture.

That's the only way I could keep track of it.

I work in a pharmacy and you should receive stickers with your nuva ring every time. If you are not ask for them the next time you fill they should be able to assist you. Very Happy
