I lovelovelove those names, Bridget.
They're so you. Would you call them
by nicknames or just use their actual
names?

I'm not saying this mean at all but I
don't think you need to worry about anyone
stealing those names, but in the same way
I wouldn't have had to worry about anyone
stealing Rowan. I like Declan a lot!
What cute shots you got of the little one!
I have a boy feeling on this one...

deck-lyn mal-uh-ky (ky rhymes with eye)
and ez-mee violet.
i am totally in love with esme and i will
be crushed if i never get to use it.
krissy, i don't know. esme would be esme
or ez, but the only thing we came up with
for declan would be dex or decks. i call
finn "finny" a lot so he'd probably end up
being "decky", which isn't so cool.
lol, tanya! i guess you're right... i
guess i just figure that we love them so
everyone else will too!

those are such cute names. i hope you get
to use esme. I like your names there
unique and different, josephs is simple.
but i named him after my gpa and uncle,
joseph was his gpas middle name andmichael
was my uncles first name they died of
cancer in 1993 and 1998. I had jordynnes
name picked out when i was pregnant with
joseph lol. I always said i fi ever had a
girl i would name her jordynne elizabeth.
A boy woulda been james or something. But
now when we have another kid in 5 years we
only have a girls name picked out. Audrey
Rochelle. I dont know aboy name. I love
love love unique names. Cuz you know no
one else will have there name. Your kids
will grow up to be beautiful children with
beautiful names. Itd be crazy to see finn
when hes like 10 yrs old!

It wouldn't be Dee-clyn? Wow, I've been
saying it wrong in my head.
What about calling him Dee? Or if it was
Aaron, he'd call him Dee Cee (DC? DC
Comics? Anyone?) Yes, he's a nerd.

::light bulb:: i was pronoucing declan
wrong and had NO idea that you ment Malaki
since thats how id spell it. But anyway
now that I know what they are... I love
the boys name. Esme reminds me of
Esmeralda a book i had when i was little
and her daddy called her esme

i'm pretty happy we've decided on a boy
name. we've had esme violet in mind since
the first time i was pregnant.
i *love* declan but was turned off by how
popular it's becoming. it's not super
popular but it's been steadily rising
since 1998 (from 715 then to 350 in 2006).
then i was shocked to see how popular
malachi is (150 in 2006!). i've never met
a single person in all my life with that
name, the only place i've even ever heard
it is in 'children of the corn'.
finn and declan... it has a nice irish
ring to it.

lmao you dont want to even know how i was
trying to say malachi, but since you said
that about children of the corn, i was
like OOOOOH! I used to be obsessed with
that movie
like seriously, obsessed.

Its amazing how baby-like it looks when
you're only 11 weeks, great pictures! It
will be cool to see what sort of hair
he/she has, if its like finns. I was born
with LOADS of spiked up black hair I
dont think any of my other sisters were
though, I'll ask my mum about that! Jay
came out with lots of spikey black hair
too, but not as much as I had.
