Nope. Most secret shoppers are from within the company. Anything you have to pay for in order to 'get' the job is a scam.

my grandma does secret shopping, im not sure how she got into it, they mail her a questionare then they tell her how much money she can spend, they reimburse her for the money. She doesnt work anymore so this i show she passes her time. I really dunno how she did it, i know it wasnt on the internet , she doesnt know how to use the internet lol.

my husband tried that, and it was a huge scam. If you look it up on wikipedia, it will give you some pointers of how to tell if it's a scam.

If they charge you money for a store list, it's a scam. That's what happened to my husband. We paid the "start up" fee, then they started charging all these fees to his Credit card. Not cool. We had to cancel the card to get it to stop.

He went and did a few assignments, but when he went to do the questionairre, the websites provided were no good too.

Same thing happened to my sister.

if you want to be a secret shopper they'll probably have adds for it in your news paper, that's where i've seen it!

My cousin was a secret shopper, he's like 7 feet tall, and he was 16 and he asked around for cigarettes and if anyone sold it to him they got in troubleee.

a secret shopper came in kmart the other night, and one of our new checkers sold the girl alcohol without asking for id, and he was underage too Embarassed auuuugh, so he's going to be fined and kmart too!
