Best Time to Test?
Posted: 09-17-07 23:02pm

The best time of DAY to test is in the morning, right? How about the best time in relation to the missed period? Can you test the day you think you're supposed to start? I tested 3 days before I thought I was supposed to start and got a BFN. I was supposed to start on Sept. 17th, Monday(yesterday). Should I wait or will the test be accurate now?

Thanks a bunch!

I tested 3 days before my period was due & got my bfp. But usually you should wait until you've MISSED period & yep, make sure you do it FIRST thing in the morning. Good luck! Are you TTC?

The bf and I had a m/c exerience in January 2006. It was really hard on the both of us as we wanted to keep the baby. Her first birthday would've been around August 16th this year. Now, we are not trying to conceive, but if it happens we would be REALLY REALLY REALLY happy:D Tonight my bb's feel heavier but not sore... My last cycle was 27 days... I'm on day 29 today. I tested on day 25 and got the negative. I'll test again today Very
Happy If it's meant to be it will happen Cool

Your breasts wouldn't be changing yet due to a pregnancy. However, PMS can make them sore and heavy.

eiri is right

the changes in your brest are not from being pregnant becuase it would be way to early for that to start happening!

GOOD LUCK! Very
Happy

My doctor told me that taking the test first thing in the morning isn't needed anymore due to better pregnancy tests.
Although I was taught in Anatomy class that you should use your first pee of the morning because there is more pregnancy hormone in your urine in the morning after sleeping all night...
I tested 3 days after my period was late and tested at night. Still was positive. I don't think it really matters what time of day you test.

I guess I forgot to mention that 1 negative and 3 positive pregnancy tests later I can say "I am pregnant." Not sure how I feel about it though. I'm terrified of losing it. I'm 5 weeks and want to keep it, but I don't really FEEL pregnant right now. I can't even imagine having the big baby belly or what the sex will be. I can't imagine having a baby... Is something wrong with me?
