Well, id idnt really worry about my genetalia, untill I started goin out with this chick, who wnats to get sexually active. I aint got no problem with that, but ive been lookin downstais, and wonderin a few things:|

lol

1.Im not circumsized, and the head is very sensitve, is that normal?
2.K, well, everytime I pull my skin back, I notice, it reaks under there. Lol, I wash it all the time, constently, but after I take a leak, or just everytime I check, it smells bad. How coudl I stop that?
3.Is it normal to have hair growing up the shaft?

Embarssing questions, but any help would be appriciated Cool

Hi gman2000, I write for planned parenthood, so I know a lot about male sexual problems.

To answer your questions, 1) yes it's normal for the head to be really sensitive if you're uncircumcised. But most of the guys I know say it's a good thing (makes sex feel better Smile ) it shouldn't be so sensitive that it hurts when you touch it though. If it does, you need to get it checked out.

2) sounds like you have an infection. Are you sexually active? What are you washing with? If nothing you do seems to help, you should definetely go to the urologist.

3) yep, it's normal. Many guys have hair there. Don't worry about it.

If you have any other questions, just ask or you can email me.

Thanks alot for the information

2) ew, an infection Neutral, that dosnmt sound good. Ok well, just wash it in the shower, with just water, make sure it get's nice and clean. No I am not sexualy active, tho I plan to be with my girl soon, which is what made me ask these questions

if it is an infection, what are the other signs of an infection? And if I do got one, is there anything I can do, before I see a doctor? Cause id rather not have some other guy checking out my package, lol. That, and I would rather not tell my mom that I need an apointment, cause she's a nurse, and well start askign questions, and start brining it up all the time.

Thanks again

Anyway, getting to your questions.

As for other signs of infection, it depends on what type of infection. Since you say you've never been sexually active, it shouldn't be an std. Because of the smell and the sensitivity you mentioned, it sounds like it may be a yeast infection. (i'm no doc, so take this information as only my opinion). When males get yeast infections, it's usually accompanied by redness and pus, and you didn't mention any of that. Other signs of infection include, pain, itching and discharge.

Ok, so you're not ready to see the doc. Well sometimes soap can cause an inflammation. When you're finished washing, be sure to rinse away every last trace of soap, because leftover soap can cause a yeast infection. Another thing you should do is to wipe the head after you urinate. Sometimes when you don't, it can cause a smell.

You didn't mention how old you are, but check out planned parenthood, you don't have to have a parent's permission. Or if it comes to it, go ahead and talk to your mother. It's better to have to deal with your mom and know there's nothing wrong, than keep stressing over it and let it get worse.

Thanks again, im 16 btw

i dont get any discharge, or I dont think so? How would I know? Is it like cum? Or something else?

And I have no itching, or pain, and its not really that sensitive, as I can rub it and stuff without it hurting.

I never wash under my skin with soap, I just wash it with water, should I be using soap?

When it comes to urinating, when im done, when I pull my forskin back over, then a little more comes out. Ive tried everything, but this always happens, so I odno what to do about that.Mayeb tahst leading to some of the smell?

Oops sorry I didn't reply sooner. Anyhow, i'd describe the discharge as kinda gel-like. And you know if you get any weird discharge (other than the color of cum), you should get to the doc immediately.

Sounds like it's a simple bacterial infection. But the only prob is for you to find out for sure and get it treated, you must go to the doctor. If you're really against your mom finding out call planned parenthood at 1-800-230-plan to find a clinic near you. You don't have to have permission or anything.

That what you described when you urinate could definetely be leading to the smell. Over the weekend try wiping it off like I said and washing with a mild soap and see if you notice a difference.

Let me know how it goes.

Depends on what it turns out to be. It could be treated with either pills, a cream or a combination of both.

As far as how long it'll take, that also depends on what it is. Let me know how things turn out.
