I have been on Ortho Lo for about 4 or 5 months now. They say within the first couple months you can experience in between period bleeding. Well I am just now starting on my 7 pills before my period and I'm bleeding and cramping up. My fiance is worried because my friend had similar symptoms when she was pregnant. Could it be pregnancy? or is it just a side effect of my Ortho? Thanks...

It could be due to a lot of things.... stress, change in diet, exercise, sleep, etc. And it could be from the ortho too. As long as you have been taking your pills correctly, you should not need to worry about pregnancy.

If the bleeding in between periods does not go away (it should've after a few months) you can switch to a different pill.
