I am having postpartum depression for the past 5 months. I suddenly start feeing very anxious and cannot fall asleep. doc didnt give medicine initially as I was breast feeding. Now baby is 10 months, she has given praxil.

Is there any other way other than medication to treat the depression?

Also, once treated can depression or sudden anxiety re-occur at later point of life?

Postpartum Depression...
I think once you have depression you always have it but you can keep it under control with medicine. Exercise, healthy diet of fruits and vegetables help. Having people to talk to helps too.
