Does everyone who has TMJ have Fibromyalgia?
I had a car wreck when I was 14 (about 15 yrs ago). I hit the left side of my head/ face on the windshield and dashboard. Ever since the wreck I've had clicking on the left side of my jaw. Also from the wreck I've developed a "bad" right shoulder & a few other places in my back - which I see a chiropractor for from time to time - whenever my back or shoulder is feeling unpleasant.
Anyways... I have recently developed a dislocated disc in my lower back - and giving me sciatic nerve pains (which I'm starting to feel better

)... and I was doing some research on sciatica and came across TMJ - and everywhere I looked I saw Fibromyalgia with it.
The only thing about my TMJ is that my jaw clicks & nothing else-- and at my last check up with the dentist they told me my bite was out of place and that I should think about getting braces (which I will soon)... blah blah blah... but I have no face or jaw pains, dizziness, or headaches from TMJ. I really never think twice about it (until today).
so back to what I was asking... does everyone has TMJ or has an auto wreck or have back tenderness develop Fibromyalgia?
