I hope someone can tell me that they have experienced what I am experiencing and what they found out it is and /or what they did about it.

At least once hourly, I have an involuntary gasp which feels like it comes from just below the bottom of my neck in the middle of my upper chest. Sometimes I make a noise like a grunt when this happens.

This frightens me because it feels like something either opens or closes in my throuat or trac hea and I want to know what is happening.

Has anyone else ever experienced this sensation?
