I dont see why you couldnt get them off. but for the most part you just have to give it time. It does wear off.. you need to stock up on ora gel and wax. you can get both at your grocery store. more than likely you wont end up with retainers as you havent worn them long enough to make too much of a change. braces hurt-- i know where you are comming from. ON thing that i think may be the problem. have you had your wisdom teeth out? mine came in while i had braces. the pain never went away. you may be lucky that you have braces at this time because it wont let the wisdom teeth ruin your smile. id go get a consult on the wisdom teeth. and go from there. braces arent so bad. when you get them tightened it ususally is only the day you get them tightened that they hurt. let me know how you are doing.

tell your dentist..train your tounge to stay away from the appliances in your mouth, dont starve---just blend fruits into a smoothie & cut all your food into small pieces so u can swallow without chewing much!

Hi,

See braces gives pain for sometime, mostly for one week, but after that you will feel comfortable, so no need to remove braces, as you pay for that, just wait and see after sometime you will feel comfortable.

Thanks!
