Fallopian Tube
Hello Diana,
Have you heard of felopio?
It's natural and supposedly opens tubes.
It's hard to know who to trust, so check it out first.
Their email is felopio.com
Let me know what you think about it.
Belle

Re: Mabelle07
I looked up the felopio website. Sounds interesting, but i'm curious on whether or not you have used it. Did it work or are you still using them? One more question. Felopio is a tampon form. Do you know of any pill forms? Thanks

I would personally consult with my doctor on this one. I don't know of anything that could actually unblock your tubes except surgery.

Blocked fallopian tubes
Hi,

I had the same problem, the HSG said blocked fallopian tubes. My period was 4/17, HSG on 4/23, positive pregnancy test on 5/12. OB/GYN stated that in alot of cases the HSG will blow out the cobwebs so to speak. It worked for me.

two blocked tubes
I am not sure of anything either that will help blocked tubes besides surgery. I wouldn't waste my good fertility years on trying stuff. I had/have two blocked tubes. If you have any pain at all in your abdomenal area I would tell them. It will be covered under your insurance and they can do a laparoscopy to see what is really going on. If your tubes are blocked there is a reason, either endo to adhesions (scar tissue) Trust me it is worth it. I have had two blocked tubes and have known for 4 years. It has been tough. Started to get pain when ovulating couple years ago, but only on right ovary. Told my doctor and he said we should do a laparoscopy to find out what is going on. he removed adhesions from my right ovary and cleaned out my tubes, said from an infection(CHLAMYDIA?) My adhesions were mild so i was lucky...so far. He gave us 3-6 months to get pregnant so I am not pregnant yet. but glad I did the surgery. I just had it done on 4-3-8.

Hi, I am just joining.I have a blocked fallopian tube also. Did HSG almost three years ago. Very painful. However, they said it was cleared. Hussie has prostatitis so I am wondering if this can prevent conception.

Hasanyone heard about Lydia Pinkham and her fertility products? Let me know.

Re: HSG-blocked tubes/no period after TR
Hi everyone,
I am new to the site but so far I have found it to be very interesting. I had a tubal ligation in June of 2003. After a rough marriage the first time, I remarried to a wonderful guy who is an amazing father and deserves a child of his own (besides the ones we have). I had a TR on Dec 7th, 2007. I had a period from Dec 1-7th as well. I then began bleeding on the 27th-30th of Dec. I did not have a period for January so they gave me provera to get me going. I then had one in Feb. I skipped March again and then in April I started on my own for about four days. They had prescribed me provera for this month but I did not need to take it. In May, I spotted the dark brownish colored stuff for about a week and a half but never really started. I took a Pg test and it was negative. The Dr. decided to schedule me for an HSG test. I had it done and it was so painful. The Dr. stopped the test and told me that both my tubes were blocked. But they left it at that and said that there was nothing more they could do. I am not sure where to go from here, it is now June 16 and I still have not ahd a period and am lost for answers...please help.

tubes
hi!

Mikeysgirl, I suggest you head to a different doctor. Get a referral for a specialist that will perform tubal surgery to open your tubes.

Natural Remedies for Blocked Fallopian Tubes
Hi, I just joined this forum, but thought I'd weigh in...I had an HSG a couple of months ago and learned that both of my tubes were blocked. After having a good cry, I decided that although my RE gave me a diagnosis, only I (and God) could decide my prognosis. I said a heartfelt prayer and went searching on the internet for my miracle.

Although it is possible to temporarily unblock the tubes via surgery (as was mentioned in couple of other posts) the tubes can become blocked again in a couple of months due. My understanding is that tubes that have been unblocked naturally, have a greater chance of remaining open - giving you a wider window of opportunity in which to conceive. I'm in my mid-30s, but decided I was willing to devote about a year to trying to conceive naturally via alternative remedies...I figured the best case scenario was that I could open my tubes and get pregnant without ART and the worse case scenario was that I could make my body and reproductive system healthier, stronger, and better able to withstand the stress and deluge of hormones that ART procedures like IVF put on your body.

The first thing I did was read The Infertility Cure by Randine Lewis. It is must read for any woman struggling with infertility that describes in detail both Western and Eastern (e.g., acupuncture, acupressure, fertility massage, herbs, diet) approaches to diagnosing and resolving fertility challenges and includes a section specifically on blocked tubes. Dr. Lewis' guidance was the baseline I used to seek out viable natural therapies for naturally unblocking my own tubes.

Anyone else had positive experiences?

Are you charting your temperature and know exactly when you ovulate?

I just had my HSG yesterday and was told that my right tube is blocked and my left after a little pressure is now fully open so we will see if that helps when we start our baby dance this weekend.

Re: New News!!
I took the advice and went to another GYN doctor. I explained everything that went on and that my doctor told me that my tubes were both blocked. He decided to redo the HSG and see for himself. My right tube is open and everything is flowing nicely, and the left tube is just seeping through so it might be blocked by debry. But hey that is much better news than before. So even if they tell you your tubes are blocked, try again before thinking IVF... Hope all is well everyone Smile

I have a friend who had problem getting pregnant due to one fallopian tube blocked. This blockage was due to a cyst so they did surgery to remove it and inmediatly got pregnant. What I want to say is that her GYN did nothing that helped her ditustion. She discovered about the cyst and the tube blocked when she went to a famous infertility specialist doctor. So my advice is go to infertility specialists not regular GYNS.
