Dynesys Stabilisation Vs Spinal Fusion Vs Graf Stabilisation

I have been recommended for Dynesys stabilisation at the end of this month. Unfortunately PPP won't pay for this, although they would pay for both a spinal fusion and a Graf stabilisation.
My surgeon says that Graf stabilisation has been superceded by Dynesys stabilisation.
Has anyone else had this non-payment problem and if so, what did they do about it? You can imagine how distressed I am with the situation given the pain, painkillers and the stress of major spinal surgery in just 12 days time.

Any help would be really appreciated.
Thanks

DYNESYS PROCEDURE
I had a similar problem.
I went to my GP,he referred me to see a surgeon at Spire hospital and the operation went ahead. The procedure was paid for by the good old NHS in a private hospital, simple.
I wish the opp was.I am in more pain now than ever before and taking more tablets and Morphine Sulphate than anyone can believe.

Dynesis operation carried out 2 years ago.

Apart from 6 months of relief my back is now probably worse now than ever with severe pain and same old restricted movement.

Tried contacting Zimmer (the manufacturers) who were extremley ignorant and took no interest whatsover in my situation yet when i was originally considering the operation 2 years ago they bent over backwards(wish i could) to help with technical info etc...

The surgeon I used in Basingstoke is under investigation by the GMC FOR NEGLIGENCE so i cannot use him so currently i am arranging for another surgeon to review things.
