Q: What If You Have Symptoms of Ovarian Cancer And No Insurance

I am 55 and lost insurance after 2004 hurricanes. I was excluded from a clinical trian when they found a septated cyst in one ovary. Also have symptoms similar to IBS, plus pain and tenderness with intercourse or orgasm. Now, having pain even with no sexual activity. No bleeding, but have noticed frequent urination, night sweats, and some strange hair growth in places it doesnt usually grown. My doctor referred me to a specialist, but they will not see me without insurance. Afraid of waiting too long. Don't have enough money for recommended procedures, but cannot qualify for public assistance (nor do I want to). Is there any alternative, just to find out if it is malignant or not?

Hi!
The symptoms your are experiencing suggest that you may have ovarian cancer(felling pressure or fullness in pelvis, abdominal pain and bloating, changes in bowel and bladder patterns) and they are early once. When ovarian cancer is diagnosed early, the chance for a cure is much better.
I really wanna help you, but i need informations about where you are located exactly.
All best to you!
