I got my tongue done twice. I didn't have any problems eating. I went straight home and had spaghetti after the first time. And the second time I had KFC. It never bothered me unless I was sick. That's why I ended up taking it out. Everytime I got I cold and sneezed that barbell hit the back of my front teeth like a hammer.

I ate some peanuts after I got mine done and was fine but then next day when I woke up and ate something my tongue got swollen and so darn sore it was annoying. It lasted about 3 days and went away. when I get really super sick my tongue swells up like I just got it done.

That's what i was told. Mine swelled up too.

whe nI got mine pierced they said I could eat but I had to do the mouthwash after everytime I ate. they also said to be very careful eating for the first month because people have ripped it out like that.
