Q: No Need For Spanking

Just for laughs!

I got this email and to lighten things up, I thought I'd post if for you.

Most of America 's populace think its improper to spank children,
so I have tried other methods to control my kids when they have one of "those moments."

One that I found effective is for me to just take the child
for a car ride and talk.

They usually calm down and stop misbehaving
after our car ride together.

I've included a photo below of one of my sessions
with my son, in case you would like to use the technique.

I Do Not Agree
When a child was totally out of control, as back in the 50's and 60's a firm swat was all it took and you knew you best behave and not back talk. One look from your parent told you, you best not even think about it. Todays generation of children are catered too and babied and reasoned with and its sickening............they RULE the ROAST. Its the parents fault these kids misbehave in public. They should be taught at home what is acceptable and what is not. Instead of spankings sometimes, we had to stand in a room and raise our arms out like clothesline post. If we lowered out arms, an extra 5 minutes would be added. This hurts after a while and works a lot better than having to sit in a timeout chair. Kids today have problems dealing swith anger management...becasue tey are allowed to scream out and misbehave parents are afraid child abuse will be called upon them. THis is why while hte children are young, these behaviors should be learned in the homes before allowing htem into society. Noew, if htey get out and show their ass.........thats a nother story. Instead of allwoing htem to sit and scream in a restaraunt because htey can't have their way, escort them out and to the car. Explaion to them once home. their most prized possession will be taken for one week. NO TV, no spend hte nights, no nothing. Kids will catch on with a few "dancing lessons" I did and I cna dance really well....and I behave!
