Q: Missing Period?

So, it's my off the pill week and it's Wednesday. I usually get my period on Wednesday, usually in the afternoons but right now... it's not here. I haven't had sex since May, I've been taking my pills regularly (not always on time but regularly), and I haven't had sex since May sooo... Confused

Also, when I wiped there was some pinkish/red colour on the tissue. Then wiped again with new tissue and it was completely clean. Am I missing something? Is this normal? I've been on the pill since February and I haven't had this problem except for the time I tried to skip my period...

Over time, BC makes your periods shorter and lighter, and some women will only have spotting for a 'period'.

It is normal to have extra light periods while on BC.

It keeps changing for me. I went throught two or three months where my period was really light and short. Then over the summer it was really heavy and lasted for 4-5 days. My non-pill week always makes me paranoid. Laughing Embarassed

If you want, and some women do this every month, just take a preganncy test during your placebo week.

It would be accurate by then, and would ease your worries.

The thing is.. I shouldn't be worried since I haven't had sex since... May. But for whatever reason, I'm still paranoid.

and periods come at the worst time EVER. I was supposed to get it on Wednesday. I went to school prepared. Nothing happened. Went to school yesterday and got my period during my lecture class and wasn't prepared. Mad
