So I Found Out... Posted: 09-12-07 21:49pm
That I passed my 1 hr glucose test! Yay for that. On
the other hand, I found out I'm
anemic....not a big shock. Anyone have any
advice for dealing with it, besides taking
iron supplements which my doctor already
told me to start taking.
Ok, that's all the update I have for now.
Oh and I'm 29 weeks today...yippie. How's
everyone else doing?

Eat red meats but mostly eat dark green
leafy veggies. They are high in iron. The
supplements may cause you to be
constipated, you may find you need to also
take some fiber.
Anemia is very common in pregnancy. That
is why they test for it

Yea the nurse warned me about the
constipation and to increase my fiber. I
figured this was why I've been sooo
exhausted lately, like beyond pregnancy
tired.

More than likely it could be. You'll start
feeling better after taking the iron.
