Is Hard Cheese Really That Bad For You? Posted: 09-12-07 21:09pm
I think my husband has become addicted to
hard cheese. He eats 5-10 oz of hard
cheese almost everday. I've told him that
it clogs your arteries, unfortunately he
doesn't seem to care. Do you have any
other medical as to WHY he should stop if
not, at least cut back.
thank you so much!

::::Says the midwestern girl:::::
cheese really isn't that bad for you, I
love cheese.
Something like 2 oz is a serving of hard
cheese (from what I remember) and you need
3 servings of dairy a day. So it's not
really that bad.
It's higher in fat, yes, but not as bad as
like, a cheeseburger with fries.....

one ounce of cheese is a serving, 2-3
servings each.
Anything else is over-doing it.

forget the medical aspect, he is obviously
not bothered..... stop kissing him and
being intimate with him - tell him all you
can smell is cheese and uless he cuts
down, you physically cant get close to
him, its either you or the cheese.
Your concerned about the medical aspects,
but he is not, you have to think of
another way to convince him to cut down.

Does he have a high fat diet?
Cheese can be bad for you, but not if it's
not part of a larger problem. If he eats
great but adds cheese to a great diet,
he'll probably be fine.
I would focus on other aspects, like his
weight or blood pressure.
