Q: Pounding In Chest.

I have acid reflux and am being treated for it. Sometimes moments after I've fallen asleep I'll get a sudden very strong pounding in my chest. There is only ever one 'pound' then I wake up. Sometimes this will happen 2 to 5 times, just falling asleep then it hits. Is this related to my reflux or is it something else?
