Just seeing his picture makes me sad (but that could very well be due to my hormones going nutzo today)

I just don't know how you can do it. I would be a wreck. I give you major props for being able to handle your husband gone for so long.

One of my really good friends from high school just got back from Afganistan. He was away from his wife for almost 2 years off and on. I could only imagine what she was going through.

He looks very proud to be doing his job. What exactly does he do?

he is infantry but i got no clue what hes doing there. im sure they are shooting guns and stuff, im holding up better then i thought lol, cuz sometimes i just dont think that he could possible die, people over there from here have died since he left. Supposedly once winter hits the violence isnt as bad cuz its sooo cold out. i sooo cant wait until he is back but like now im into a routine of my own since he left. So it will be different when hes back, usually after dinner i bathe the kids, read a story, put themt o bed, and clean house do l aundry but thats cuz im up till midnight or later sometimes. but when hes here i like to spend time with him when the kids are in bed so i dunno, but i will be glad when he is back.

I'm glad that you guys have an easy way to communicate. Is it just via computer or does he call you too?

He looks so somber and serious. Just seeing these pics makes me worry, and he's not even my husband! I am sending all of my energy out to him and all the soldiers for a safe and quick return. Crying or Very sad

(you must be so proud of him!)
