I think that John Lennon was the most influential person to me. When I hear his music, I cry. He is an inspiration for peace.

My mother. She has taught me a lot about hardship, keeping your chin up, sefl-reliance and unconditional love.

Pretty poorly. I would have my mom live with me when she gets too old to live alone. My other older relatives died fairly lonely in nursing homes. All I can do now is honor their memories. I am trying to be kind to my father for whom I hold great resentment.

My 1 year old daughter. She makes me realize what I need to do in life. How important planning is. The future. She keeps me grounded. She is the reason I am here today.

A good sense of humor. Why? I just like being around funny people. Honesty is a good quality too. Successful, etc.

Patience.

I have actually talked with homeless people around here and they all say the same thing. They CHOOSE to be homeless. Which is true, if you think about it. There are homeless shelters all around. There are jobs available.

What is your solution for decreasing the poverty rate in the US? Raising the minimum wage to actually compensate for the high costs of living.

What is your solution for decreasing the poverty rate in the US? Quit giving welfare to big businesses and the wealthy (ie: tax breaks) and get the walfruck out of Iraq and Afganistan. Heavily cut income taxes and instead increase sales taxes.

get some of those celebrities with too much money to give some of it to them. Football players get paid far too much, for a job that isn't exactly important is it.

So many to choose from- respect for your children. Meaning, respect for their healthy development and for them as human beings.

Probably not much.. I talk to my parents a lot. i am still very in touch with my grandma. I include them in my life.

Steal from the rich and give to the poor! Seriously, there is way too large of a disparity between the rich people and everyone else. And they get way too many breaks for it to be even remotely fair. And how about making college and healthcare free?? Hello?? Thousands upon thousands of dollars of debt for people just to be educated and healthy.... (Says the poor college student) Tax the hell out of rich people to pay for it. They can afford it!!

Elect a president that has been in poverty and make his annual salary comparable to middle class. Put more focus on education and stop cutting schools budgets

I like the president's salary thing. Good thinking. I think all politicians should make an average salary, maybe they'll have more incentive to boost the economy.
