Worried...

So, the baby hasn't really been moving today. I know I'm only like 18 and a half weeks but I've been feeling the baby every day and now nothing. I just need you guys to tell me I'm crazy and that everything's okay like normal. How is everyone by the way?

Aww don't worry I'm sure the baby is fine. He's probably just tried from all the previous moving around. I didn't know you could feel the baby move at 18 weeks, I feel so stupid. Embarassed

I'm ok, not nausea tonight, yay! lol I'm really anxious to go to my first doctor appointment.

Thanks! I've been feeling the baby regularly for a couple of weeks now. My mom always felt us really early too.

thats what id do too..drink something with sugar and lay still..
the baby still little so im sure its moving you may just not be feeling all of the movements you know.. I felt bree move real early too but then it sort of slowed and then around 21 weeks i started really really feeling it.
if your ever concerned though call the doctor..thats what there there for, you could always go in and get a stress test just to reassure yourself.

I felt the baby move early on too (around 13 weeks), but the movements didn't get consistent and daily until around 20 weeks. Around 18 weeks, I'd still have days where I could feel movement and days where I couldn't. Around 21 weeks, I started being able to feel movements from outside my belly, and at 23 weeks even see my belly moving. From 23 weeks on, the movments have been very consistent, and I notice a distinct pattern too. My baby moves hardly at all in the morning before lunch time, she'll get a bit active after lunch, but her main activity if in the evening and especially right before I go to bed and even the middle of the night (often, it wakes me up in the night).

I'll be 27 weeks tomorrow, and I swear, I still just get one or two faint movements all morning long from the baby; I guess she's sleeping then.

I'm sure everything is fine with your baby. It's still early yet, and at that point, most of what I felt was still pretty subtle (your baby is still quite small at this point, under 1 lb.), mostly it felt like being tickled from inside, occasionally, like being poked with a finger. It could be too that maybe the baby moved and now is directing the kicks toward your spine and you don't feel them. I had my big u/s at almost 21 weeks; during the u/s, the baby kicked and I saw it on the image but I didn't feel those kicks.

It is ok to worry over your baby. This is your maternal instinct Smile You are a MOM!

When you don't feel any movement, eat something sugary to wake that little bean up. Also laying down will lessen the gravity pull on the baby and give more ability to move around. Eat some donuts, drink some oj and lay down in about 1/2 an hour. That little one will be moving around in no time.

I've noticed that when Gracie doesnt move as often as she normally would i tend to have a belly growth spurt.

Sounds crazy i know and it might be all in my head but it seems to be happening!! Confused

Well, I just noticed earlier that my belly already seems bigger than the pics I showed you guys Friday. Maybe that has something to do with it. Is it normal for my uterus to be up to my belly button already? I am 18 weeks and 4 days.
